Democratic Party Leaders Statewide Rally Behind Sanders for Lieutenant Governor

More than 30 additional County Chairs and Party Officers endorse proven job creator

MIDDLETON – More than thirty Democratic Party leaders from across the state today announced their endorsement of Henry Sanders for Lieutenant Governor. The group joins dozens of other County Chairs and Officers supporting Sanders in the Democratic Primary.

To date, over 100 county chairs and party officers have endorsed Sanders – more than any other candidate in the race for Lieutenant Governor.

“I’ve traveled to each of Wisconsin’s 72 counties in this campaign, and I am continually inspired by the hard work and dedication of our grassroots leaders in every corner of the state,” said Sanders. “The Democratic ticket needs their energy and enthusiasm to win this fall, and I’m proud to have earned their support in the race for Lieutenant Governor.”

Nonprofit executive, community activist, and small business owner Henry Sanders, Jr. lives with his wife and daughter in Waunakee, WI. Sanders is the founder of Madison Area Growth Network and Propel Wisconsin Innovation – nonprofit organizations dedicated to job growth – and Capacity-360, a small business that connects other small to mid-sized businesses with capital and other resources. Democratic Party leaders and grassroots activists favored Sanders by a 2-to-1 margin in the Democratic Convention poll.
